      Situation.

 

Congo, or Congo-Brazzaville,

officially Republic of Congo,

is a paysd' central Africa, located on both sides

equator. Its neighbors are Gabon, leCameroun,

the Central African Republic, the Democratic republic

from Congo - from which it is separated, partly,

by the Congo river then Oubangui - and Cabinda (Angola).

The country extends on 1 300 km from north in the south, of the Atlantic Ocean

at the Central African border.

The Republic of Congo is frequently called Congo-Brazzaville to distinguish it

other Congo,

officially called

  Democratic republic of Congo,

also called 

 Congo-Kinshasa. It also changed the name of Popular republic of Congo of 1969 to 1992.
